Today’s computers seem to become more fragile every year. I have been through 1 hard drive failure (Acer), 2 battery issues within 5-6 months of owning (MSI Wind, HP Pavilion(HP Overheats too) both were design flaws one was the frame and the other was faulty battery I got tired of sending them back for repairs and exchanges). And another one was my fault because I spilled water on another Acer it work fine after drying out but stopped a week later. I’m in search for a laptop that is durable. That can will be good to travel with. I’m not rough to my computers I just do a lot of office work and video editing. I don’t mind having a used computer.

Macbooks are out of the question, I’ve seen plenty of classmates have issues with a $1700 Apple. I don’t really care for netbooks because I know from personal experience they can handle the work load. I did own a desktop but gave it away as a gift to some kid who needed it plus I need to travel.

Yes, I take care or my laptops, carry case, disc clean up, defrag, firewall, anti virus and I don’t download risky files or visit sketchy sites.

I just want a laptop to last more than a 6-12 months is that too much to ask? Thanks for reading.
